My Beard Style Experiment & Reactions from Friends and Total Strangers
The experiment was strange to say the least. The first few days of growing my beard was the toughest. The itching can be pretty intense, but it will subside once the hairs start appearing with regularity.
The itching results from the root getting re-established again. I wore my beard trimmed and completely connected with my mustache.
My girlfriend eventually got used to it, but she constantly sent me hints about how it made me look different.
She got more jealous after one of her single lady friend was naive enough to tell her how I looked more handsome and available now.
The reactions from my friends were mixed. Some appeared shocked, and most just learned to live with the new look.
One thing I did notice, was more glances and admiring look from the ladies whenever we went out. I can safely say, wearing a short beards style makes you stand out and from my experience, the ladies loved it.
If you’re trying to get answers to the question, are beards in style? You need to first stiffen your resolve, before deciding to grow a cool beard style.
Personally I did not care what people thought about my new look, as I have learned to be very comfortable in my own skin.
Some men that decide to grow a beard usually buckle under social peer pressure. After three months, I still have my beard style going strong, but the maintenance routine is slowly getting to me.
Contrary to what some might think, the more attention I am getting from the ladies is flattering to say the least.
