The Special Events section within the Austin- Travis County EMS Department is separated into two functional areas; Event Planning and Review and Stand-By Services. Those involved in event planning may utilize the information in one of the two areas, or may have needs that will encompass both of them.

Event Planning and Review : If you are involved in holding an event within the City of Austin that has a street closure and requires an approval by EMS then please select the Event Planning and Review link in the section below.

Stand-by Services : If you would like to contract with ATCEMS for stand-by EMS services at your venue, athletic event, festival or private function, then please select the Stand-By Services link in the section below.

The ATCEMS Special Events section is dedicated to upholding the mission statement of the Department through planning, event plan review, event management and post-event analysis. Our office is located within the Small and Minority Business Resource Center on the second floor of 4201 Ed Bluestein next to the ATCEMS Material Management division.
