The Austin-Travis County EMS Training Center Provides Basic Life Support (BLS) courses to anyone wanting to learn how to save a life, whether you’re a healthcare provider, student or grandparent we have a class for you.  All BLS courses taught by the ATCEMS Training Center are official American Heart Association courses.  Upon successful completion of the course students will be issued an official American Heart Association completion card.  By taking a BLS course you will learn how to do CPR for victims of all ages, use an automated external defibrillator (AED), help a victim who is choking and give first aid when needed.

The ATCEMS Training Center will provide American Heart Association curriculum and books for both CPR and First Aid courses.  The ATCEMS Training Center offers off site classes at your facility for a minimum of six students.  Offsite classes are scheduled from Tuesday through Friday only.  Please allow a two weeks notice if you want to set up a class at your facility.
